Heat Treatment for Pest Control and ISPM 15 |

This 2-day course is aimed at owners of pest control companies, technical managers of food factories and pest control / heat treatment technicians who haven't attended any formal heat treatment training course. It is a mixture of theory and practical work. Although not compulsory, attendees will benefit from a fundamental understanding of science and basic computer skills. Heat treatment is becoming a useful and highly effective insect control tool, particularly following the withdrawal of methyl bromide, but it is being mis-used in some cases resulting in potential damage. This course explains how to carry out heat treatments safely and without causing damage to meet the requirements of high standards of insect control in the food, hospitality and phytosanitory industries amongst others. The course has been awarded 22 PROMPT CPD points. | |
