This intensive, five-day, residential course aims to introduce the basic principles of public health pest control and extend the knowledge of those already working within the industry. New and inexperienced operatives will benefit, as well as those indirectly involved with pest control through, for example, liaison with a contractor.

The Public Health Insect course will introduce the biology and control of the most common insects to the Pest Controller. This training provides delegates with the knowledge to recognise the main public health insect pests, their biology as it relates to prevention and control, and topical advice on the control techniques available.
